SIM 300 PDP DEACT

no SIM300 is older modem and might not support 64K. If you can get new firmware for this modem, then its might be possible to support this sim. SIM300 is obsolete now and are not in production. all new designs are recommended to use SIM900 which is a similar modem using ARM9 core.

Hai,
Thank you Ajay.
I will get a SIM900 modem soon. As you said, the problem might be outdated firmware. I'll update if I get the solution.

Hai,
Sorry for late update. I was with some other work.
Now, I got a new modem having SIM900 module. I tried the Sim card in that modem also. But the result is same. All other sim cards are working. But this one is not. i tried another bsnl simcard, and that is also working. Any idea why it is giving
ERROR
+PDP DEACT
on AT+CIICR command?

hai,
Yes, i am using the same thing. But when i used the apn (bsnlstream and bsnllive), I getting OK response for AT+CIICR command.
But am getting an ip address starting with 10 series (I think this is a private ip. and bsnlnet will give public ip). With this when i use AT+CIPSTART, i am getting CONNECT FAIL response.

what ru typing after AT+CIPSTART
it take how much time to get ok or fail response after issuing the AT+CIPSTART command
if time is long then it may a weak signals or bad power supply

Hai,
With apn setting bsnllive and bsnlstream, when i typed
AT+CIICR
it gives OK.
But the ip i got starts with 10.XX.XXX.XXX
But on
AT+CIPSTART="TCP","www.google.com","80"
it gives
OK
and
CONNECT FAIL after 4 or 5 seconds.
The signal level is good and the power is also good (As i said, I can use other sim cards with the modems and can connect to internet).
Today,I got another bsnl simcard. it is also showing the same behaviour with the modems, but can use in my handset for browsing.
Does new bsnl sim cards not support this kind of gprs modules?

Hai,
I wonder how the mobile phones connect to internet using AT commands?
In my case, I am not able to connect through AT commands, but mobile can establish connection.
Anyone have an idea about this?
Thank you
