final year project based on voice recognition

hi,
i'm trying to make a project on switching tv channels using voice rocognition. here i need to interface a voice module(hm2007) to a at89s52 microcontroller and with the inputs from that voice module i need to send IR signals to the tv like an ordinary remote. I need help in implementing the remote through a microcontroller. can anyone please help regarding this. Its really urgent.
thank you..

these days different TV uses different mechanism for transmission at different frequencies. are you targeting any specific TV?
You can read about different tv remote protocols here:

universal remotes uses ICs like IC4201 or ZT102 ZT101 etc. they are single chip remote controller ICs.

can these ic's be directly connected to a microcontroller?? if not please suggest something that can be connected directly to phillips nxp 8051.

these ICs are designed to work with remote keypad (8x8 matrix). You can connect rows and columns to controller and emulate keypress by activating right row/col combination. This activation can be triggered based on voice command received from user. hope you understand.

thanks alot sir. another problem we are facing in our project is that our microcontroller(phillips nxp 8051) is not accepting the output of the voice module. the voice module(hm2007) generates 8 bit data which is given to 8051 but it is not accepting the input even after adding pull up resisters. can u suggest something?? the voice module output is 5v logic level.

You need to provide schematic too. I am not sure where and how you've made connections.

no sir but the program v r using is almost the same as the one in the data sheet. n v r connecting the 8 bit output of that voice module to port 0 of nxp 8051. and based on that output the remote channel is changed. but the microcontroller is not accepting the input. we tried running a sample prog to turn on an led with voice commands but it did not work. attaching program and schematic.
