connecting RFID to 8051

i am using a RFID module, i want to connect reader module directly to the 8051 by using data, gnd, and vcc pin. just to read the rfid tag value.. how can i do that..
i mean does rfid reader is TTL compatible.. if so.. then which pin goes where to the mc 8051
i dont want to use the db9 connector
i want to connect it using the pin available

Which RFID module are you using? Post link to the product or attach datasheet atleast.

iam using EM-18 reader module.. but i want only to use the reader not whole module.
does it is TTL compatible? I checked the data sheet but its confusing.. plz help

Yes it is TTL compatible.
Connect to the RX pin of your micro at 9600 baud.
