Will it success to use 100M crystal in M88 system?

Will it success to use 100M crystal in M88 system?
I read some book , some say its upper limit is 100M, but also
some say 20M, i want to use it in a atmega88 system, kindly for yours.

I checked the datasheet and nowhere its mentioned that 100M can be used for M88.
max frequency specified is 20M.

For Atmega88 max frequency is 24MHz..

if you work on low voltage then maximum crystal frequency is 10Mhz and if you are using high voltage then crystal frequency is 20Mhz
