This Project will guide you how to interface your real world with digital world, although this is a digital clock project author used custom font support, you can make you own digits font (by writing on LCD)to make clock display which is quite interesting to do.
This is very good and informative project to do, it is like Pranav Mistry's Sixth Sense Project in which he interfaced Real World with Digital World.

You can use this idea in many other ways like you can make face recognition based Attendance System, till now we are using thumb scanner or RF IDs for Attendance these are digital ways, in these you are bound in digital world let us make it simple Make a database of students Face Pics, Place a camera at entrance, when student will pass through door cam will take a pic and will verify it from its database and Attendance done, this is called interfacing real world with digital world, I will Suggest you all to make this project at least one time in your life, I really Appreciate author for this great piece of work.
