Please I am working on a project that involves 89C51 microcontroller. My problem is how to be able to program this 89C51 to soothe the kind of task I want to execute. I am working on a GSM CONTROLLED DOOR LATCH OPENER WITH SECURITY AUTODIAL-UP. Please I need help!!!

to program an 89C51 you need a programmer..
also which GSM phone you are going to use in your project?
i recommend using some AT command compatible phone as they are easiest to work with..

pls Ajah, hw do I come by this AT phones and hw do they look like. Pls explain what I should expect while carrying out this project, thanks for cooperating....

Pls Ajah, as u earlier on said that I need a programmer for the 89C51, but can't I get the source codes to program an 89C51 in assembly language from the internet, or is it compulsory that I need a programmer to do that, based on its architectural complexity. hope to hear ur reply..

Hello Ajah, you hav been of immense help to me. Well pls check out how this project would look like with its block digram representation attached below. See if it is feasible to actualise with just those items and what else need to be done or added to the circuit.

if you are trying to do the voice recognition thing with 8051 then would be a problem.. if you want to make something interactive then you can store simple pre recorded sound in your 8051 and u can play it back to the user as a response to their action reply...
