Interfacing AT89C51 with ultrasonic sensor and LCD

I would like to ask you where did you place exactly the suggestion edition from Ajay in your code,,,,

the suggestion was :

int timerval;

timerval = TH0;
timerval = (timerval << 8) | TL0;


where exactly u placed it ?

I put the code

int timerval;

timerval = TH0;
timerval = (timerval << 8) | TL0;

inside unsigned int get_range(void)

and change delay (40) with code below

while(INT1==0);  
 while(INT1==1);

sir kindly send me code of ultrasonic distance measurement by using AT89C51 at [email protected] soon as possible.

can u post the updated code for the above problem ?

His code was all ok just replace dpl,dph with an integer as I posted. I don't know if author is available as it's a very old post now.
