pic industrial and domestic timer

I did as you instructed but am still getting errors .I dont know what could be the problem

i can't find pic.h file
while i am compiling this project these errors occur:

This project is written for the Hi-Tech C compiler.
It will need converting to compile with any other compiler.
Converting will be difficult and probably not worth the effort.
Either get a copy of Hi-Tech C compiler or choose another project written for
the compiler you have.

I made the above mentioned project but when i put it on i only get a black line on the first row. I have tryed using different LCDs but i get the same results. please help me.I have attached pictures of my circuit

In main.c it says ...
COMPILER : HI-TECH PIC C COMPILER 9.60 IN PRO MODE

Here the HI-TECH compiler is used as a plugin for MPLAB, so you need both.

Please don't ask why people use MPLAB/ compiler combinations, I don't know


I don't see your diagram, try attaching it as a zip file.
