Hi all, I need helps with ISP programming!!!
I am currently using the AT89STK-11 Starter Kit with a AT89C51ED2 chip, and I tried to program the chip using the FLIP program, but always failed when I was doing RS232 setup on the FLIP program, the message promted "TimeOut Error".
When I entered the debug mode to the same thing I got the following message:
***** ispSetAutoIsp *****
***** ispSetRtsLow *****
***** ispSetDtrHigh *****
***** ispSetDtrLow *****
***** ispSetRtsHigh *****
1 >> U
Do anyone know what is going wrong?? Please help me, thanks!!

put probe at reset pin, check if there is transition there or not.
It always good to have manual control coz its hard to trust software..
also i have tried with FLIP too, always used manual control never used DTR/RTS coz it never worked.

great what was the problem?
if its a Kit problem, then you should inform the manufacturer too
