wireless Home automation with wi-fi/GPRS/Zigbee (Ajay/abbas/...)

Hi Ajay/Abbas,
I need to do home automation project in which i need to control home appliances like tubelight, fan etc...tht we can do by relay....but i need to do it by PDA(or any handheld device, may support wi-fi), also most important, I have camera in each room. suppose i am in dining room and i want to see its camera video on handheld/PDA......

So how to start yaar.......till date i have not used wi-fi....bt i have one raabit core i am sending you that....also if you have any other idea....plz..mention....

even i have not worked with any wifi module I think you better go through module's datasheet and sample codes if you have. You need to have an Http server on your module so that user can access it from online.

i have an idea...if it will really work or not i dono.... i have wi fi in my mobile with windows OS which suports dotnet compact framework.....as well as i have wi fi in laptop so jus i need to call API to acess wifi and send and receive string both side....will it work......???

I donno much about windows mobile OS. but i think simple TCP application running on OS for simple data transaction will work pefectly. just normal socket programming i guess. data send over a TCP port.
