problem with the code

i have a problem with the code i am using a 1x16 lcd in the digital clock using DS1307.u have used a 2x16 lcd so i am unable to match my lcd add with ur's.wat to do?
plz send an imm reply.i am displaying only day and time on the 1x16 lcd.

hi swathi,
as you can see the code is written so that it should show the date and day on the first line. so now you have to edit the code to make it work with your requirement. if u take my advice better use two lines. coz its very difficult to display everything in a single line... i tried it with one line also the results were not that impressive. so i recommend u to use 2x16 LCD. you'll get everything working :-)can you tell me which project u r working on?

i am doing a project on digital clock with alarm using DS1307.i dont want to use the 2x16 lcd i have a 1x16 lcd.this is a temp project for me. so its waste of buying a new lcd.
k i will try out as u said but in time we r also using am,pm so wat to do.plz give me the add loc for1x16 lcd to display day and time with am n pm.

see.. you wont be able to use the special icons then.. i hope u understand y.. i mean there is no space for them.. so what u can do is display the time in this format.

you can see.. if u wanna display this much then u are one character short.. so thats y i am recommending 2 lines.
as everything is in the first line so it will be 0x80 the starting address of the LCD.
and for displaying it.. make changes in the disp_rtc subroutine
