No not this. I meant the ADCs circuit in free running mode sorry
I vaguely remember the clock is given to the clock and 1 more pin of the ADC. Sorry i dont have the circuit. All circuits were maintained by 1 of my project batchmates and i have no contact with that person now! It should be available on the net if u search am sure...

The Free running mode Circuit is like this

so what's the progress?

hello sir, itz a good day 4 me ... i found a major fault in ADC ckt :mad , the 1pf capacitor i hv used in clk ckt for ADC was shoted :-s . dats why ADC was nt getting perfect clock pulses...i solved it out. n finaly on LCD disply i m able 2 see real time reading.
though i hv solved it, bt still i hv chk 2 sensors at free running mode to satisfy myself... after dat i will give my final touch 2 it.

Thanks a lot sir for ur time to time guideline. :-)

Hey, what is the progress?
Hope you have sorted out the problem. By the way driving those LEDs like that is not a good idea. (Ajay, what do you think???) By the way as far as I remember the clock is connected to more than just one pin :mad

hello amit.....

i hv one doubt 4 u. Does the reading keep changes every instant of tim......i noticed dat the temp reading n humidity readings r changing every tim the cursor moves......i ddnt get any const value on d LCD for few mins.....
Fri Mar 20 2009, 06:11 PM
Chinmay as long as there is a change in the what the sensor is reading there will be a change in the o/p on the LCD. Ensure that you are in a stable environment. Not too windy, etc.

Why dont you do this. As you are running the system, connect the multimeter to the o/p of any sensor (say, temperature) now at the instant the reading on LCD changes, immediately note down the voltage o/p of the sensor on the multimeter and tally it. There you will come to know if the set up is working correctly.

Well i hv done dis b4....bt i noticed dat values r vary in a large range... i.e at 1st instant temp: 53.6 c , Rh:98%....n next it shows temp: 82.9 C, Rh: 34%...lik dis..bt analog signals a perfect w.r.t environment. bt i hv chked my ADC at free running mode itz converting d analog signal to digital one with exact value...means itz nt fluctuating.
Fri Mar 20 2009, 06:28 PM
Oh that means the hardware is working fine. have you checked the ADC o/ps for a range of values and with all sensors connected?
How could so many errors have crept into the code! :mad I never faced this kind of problem. You will have to give me some time to go thro the code now. I just keep seeing code all day long and I dont have the heart to look at some more :-s
HAve you tried checking the logic of the code?
Fri Mar 20 2009, 06:42 PM
ya i hv checked........logic is fine....just der som prob in memory allocation during d display of actuator status.

Does anyone have microcontroller programming software for STC15F104W (core 8051, 4 k, 128 byte, 6 I/O pin, UART ... DIL8), that works?

Hi I am looking for a assembly language program for a digital decimal counter. Time counts max limit of 2 mins starting from 2.00 mins and ending at 0.00. time is to be displayed on 4 7-segment LED displays. Edsim51 simulator to be used. Thanks
