HI Sir , im having a problem with a dual digit seven segment display. The circuit is like this, the P0.0 is connected to the A and P0.7 to the DP and the K1 is connected to P1.0 and K2 to P1.1. so is it we set K1 to 1 when displaying K1 number and K2 to 1 for number K2?? and im confused with the ADC0804 output, the output is in binary?? for example 00010010 ?? and does this mean that the temperature is 18 degre in celcious??

yes whichever segment you want to display the number.. that segment has to be activated, i.e. made 1, e.g if you want to display on K1 then after sending the value on the port (P0) make K1 as 1.

Regarding ADC0804, the output is in binary/hex whatever you like to call it.. and as per your question for 18°, i want to tell you that.. you might need to calibrate ADC output with a real thermometer. because ADC output will not be according to what your temperature sensor is sending..
e.g. in case of LM35, the o/p is in the order of millivolts and for every 1°C rise in temperature the o/p increases by 1mV. so if you are getting 18H at the output from ADC, then you need to compare that with the real thermometer value and make a calibrated scale..

Its not the part of assembly.. its experimental work.. that is.. you need to make scale with your own hands.. and take the readings of real thermometer and ADC o/p and make a relation.. I cannot explain these things..so i am saying better ask your teachers or seniors..
