uploading realtiume gps data to my own website

hi i m doing project on gps i want to upload my real time gps data to website
my gps reciever is attatched to usb of my pc i want to recieve tht gps data and upload tht data to my website
can u please help me how should i proceed?

I can only help you with VB6 i am not too much familiar with C# or .net etc..

you can make use of a TCP socket programming.. or if you're using a database for storage then like for MySQL database, you get ODBC connectors from www.mysql.com

once you done with download install it. setup database connection string.
read GPS data, format it if you want.. make connection to MySQL database store data, close connection.

on website side.. you can use php or any language u like to retrieve data from database.

ok actually i m electronics engineer and have no idea og softwares can u provide me any application tht read data from serial porn and convert nmea formay into english strings
or any tutorial

you can saerch online and look for MSCOMM sample application, and winsock sample application, modify them according to your needs.
