soooo... i've downloaded mapme v1.3 from your homepage-downloads and installed this version. the user location update in this version works without problem - so there must be a difference between the verison posted from you in this thread and the one stored in your homepage-downloads...

yes, but it was a small beta coz i need people to test it. Now that you have confirmed the working of plugin i can upload it to e107 plugin site

is there anything which need to be added? but again volunteers needed to test I alone cannot do that.

why uploading? the working version is allready in your download section...

two problems exists still....

1) map doesn't shown in IE7 & IE8 (only see the message "loading")

2) map-zoom-setting and map start position (lat and long) did not work - the plugin/map ignore the values in plugin-settings

well for some users the old version create problem, for the reason, people put whatever they want in their location area so sometimes values are not properly parsed in xml. so plugin actually needs an update for them

Hi there,

long time ago... i've a short question to you - e107v2 bootstrap is long time out and your plugin isn't compatible... is there a chance you'll upgrade your plugin for use with latest e107v2?

Hi Centurio,
I do not have enough time to update plugin to v2. I have not updated my website yet to v2... so you can imagine. The gmap code is very old and lot of things have changed now. So plugin needs to be updated. Hope someone will take time and do it for you maybe? I am really sorry for now.

hello! newbie here. i am kind of a guy who hates using ready - made existing libraries, so this helped a lot as i was trying to control and write to a character lcd display. however, i can't figure out how to set the cursor position. for example, i want to set it to the 5th column in the first row, so position 5. so according to the table, i am sending 10000101 on the 8 data lines of the lcd (register select pulled low). the cursor does not move there however. and i cant move the cursor left or right too. is it something wrong that i am doing? thank you.
