if it shows 0 errors then it means there is no syntax or compiler error.. and now regarding functionality.. you can burn the program on controller to check its working.. or if you have a simulator/debugger in your compiler then debug it there....

download some other free simulators... maybe that might help? i actually never came across with this TRi C. and i dont see anyone using it here.. do you have a website or something to get this compiler?

most probably
tri c is a private commercial compiler supplied with ur board...
we never heard of it....
so we would suggest that... if u r using 51 family controller....
look for some other compiler with in built simulators....
keil....
pinnacle...
topveiw ....
download any of the demo versions for simulators...

okay i'v serached for this tri C simulator havnt found one.. TRI c is basiccaly something devised by some IIT student.. the site is triindia.com.
i had downloaded the KEIL C demo version and had written your KEIL C program of the digital clock w/o the alarm that used AT..4051.
it did not work there..
could you tell me the possible reasons..
it would be of great help!

well that needs an LCD in keil there is no LCD..
and usually it doesn't work on simulators..
Coz when u run it on simulator it just keep waiting for LCD's busy flag which never goes low.. so it doesn't give any display..
rather make it on real board.. not much of hardware is there..

topveiw simulator has an lcd peripheral simulation with it....
better not use the busy flag mechanism...
just to be sure....
anyway as ajay said ... go for the real thing.... :-)
