have u down loaded 8051 family data sheet??
if yes then try blinking one pin of one of the ports at a regular interval..... :-|

yeah i have al the data sheets of the ics u n ajay mentioned. wel i just gotta get the ports ppin to go on n off at regular interval right. thats done n i dont need any interrupts nothin right? now i need to figure out how to compile n assemble it n il tel u my status tomorro. but can i simulate the blinking on keil itself? gotta go n ave dinner now. thanks again cya gnit

yeah i had downloaded the c51 document from the download section ... but am not a manual person just cant get myself to read manuals..stil il go thro it thanks wats a51 by the way?

Am just unable to follow how to use keil. And the example codes are in c, cant i use alp? my command over c is not very good and this assembly type c i have no idea! and also i am just unable to understand how to compile the code and simulate it and all. the c51 document just keeps explaining some instructions n stuff. cant i work in alp??? :mad
