How about a Snakes game (Nokia inspired) using 8051???

Hello,

I was to do a project in 8051 as a part of academic exercise in my college. I wasn't in a mood to do anything useful but I wanted do something innovative. So I decided to try
some sort of a game. I always spent hours playing Snakes game in my Nokia handset. Then why not implement the same using 8051? I couldn't afford any advanced GUI or other resources. I decided to use simple LED dot matrix display and micro switches for user input. All the job is done by an AT89S51. The project costs less than INR400/- (~ $8).

I am posting images of my hardware, showing it's varyious stages of development and also a video of the game!!!

Sandeep, sorry i made reply to wrong topic here. what i wanted to say is you can submit your projects if you want them to be hosted on the website. I have seen the snake game you made, i am really impressed, its so so good brings back the charm of Nokia 3310
