really innovative

just one suggestion.. put a resistor between up/down/Ok switch and Vcc so that you dont burn controller pin incase of any spike in power.

I am using LPC2148 demo board and i thought of doing this project.
I want to know the port settings of Nokia 7610 supernova which i am using.
And also i dont have UART to USB converter. What to do?

this project based on a pic microcontroller and with the LCD check up www.pinouts.ru and for its pinout and then try and get the datasheet for that then make some changes to the source code to have it work

you cannot interface a usb device to LPC2148 for the reason that it does not have a USB host capabilities. Try using a GSM modem to make this project. you will get better results.

Ajay thank u for ur suggestion, i dont know much about GSM modem just tell me something. Using AT commands in mobile we can send messages. For modems what?
