hello...!
im planning on constructing a robot or should i say a vehicle dat uses 2 motors..i managed to get sum referance regarding d schematics for the circuit design but the current schematics uses a smaller motor..which draws less power and uses a much less power supply.. the schematics is in the link below..i need to use a much powerful motor and provide more power to the circuit..cn anyone provide some explanation on howto modify the circuit..thankz a lot!

Circuit shown there uses L293D H-Bridge motor driver, which has good output current upto 600mA (1.2A peak) for your motor.
you need to provide some specifications of your motor to suggest you a better motor driver or if needed a custom driver circuit.

jz another question..cn i build a segway using the same circuit..im planning 2 do a segway prototype..since this circuit also uses 2 motors..izit d same? n if it is the sam..how do i add a gyro and a kaplan filter in it..in provide self-balance for the robot.

no its not that simple... design will vary. concentrate on one thing first.

Hie Guys..I m using the circuit diagram below for my obstacle avoidance robot...I managed to purchase a motor with the following specification.
DC12V
Output Power: 1.1 Watt
Rated Speed: 185RPM
Rated Current: 410mA
Rated Torque: 78.4mN.m
Can the motor driver L293-D drive this motor? Please help me with this..

hi liverpool_fan
maximun current of L298D is 1.2 A
in ur case need is 410mA
so this ic is sufficent for ur motor application
