circuit designing

sir we want to know the basics of circuit designing like h to calculaate the values of capacitors n transistors,h to add transistors,wat values of components to be taken in a particular circuit while designing it.

its all related to the simple subject. "Circuit Analysis" you might be having that in your course. and regarding the transistors.. you can consult "Electronic devices and circuits" actually it depends on the need of the compontent u wanna connect, is it a high current device or a voltage controlled device. like take the case of Relay.. which is a current controlled device. so.. we need an NPN transistor for the boosting of current. which is decided by the biasing componects and Hfe of the Trasistor. you can consult some book for more referance.
for most of the digital design we use BC547 or 2N2222 NPN transistors. and more help can be found in the data sheet of the componts. how to interface and how much driving current and voltage is required.
i recommend to read the data sheet of the component before using it.
