send me a clear pic of the "component side" while the circuit is ON. i wanna see what kind of output you are getting.
if its a dark black line in the first line of LCD. then check the crystal.. i saw your soldering.. i hope you havn't burn anything 
if you can get a CRO then check the crystal is working or not..

Hey, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Ie, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.
