hi all this is my learning thread.. from this thread I already finished some 8051 amd PIC's projects.
namely: home security system, voltmeter using 8051+ADC0808 and voltmeter with PIC16f877a.

I also learned LCD interfacing(16x2, nokia 3310 LCD), ADC and keypad interfacing..

I also want to thank everyone in this forum specially to my friends here..

another question.
Does nokia 3310 lcd belongs to this type of LCD, LPH 7366?

According to this page
It looks very similar

If I were you I'd stick to the normal 2*16 LCD.
If you use the Nokia display you will have to write a lot of extra code yourself.
The way they work is completely different.

8s okay if i have 2 write more codes. Im willing to spend my time working on it just to learn something.

This is AJAY's project so maybe he would help me also f he has a time.

3310 lcd is connection is same as
from this link u can download plug and play diver
u can also simulate it on proteus with 3310 lcd
i use these library and do simulation in proteus

Hi ajay, i seen some simulation and actual display of 3310 LCD in the web but it doesnt look like this,


its different from yours
how did u do that? Do u still have that code? Its very nice.
