Hello everybody,
I want to do a project on Wireless Sensor Networks, where i will have sensor nodes placed at different places. All i want is to communicate to my server speech samples, images.
I just have theoretical knowledge about Wireless Sensor Networks but have never dealt with them practically.
How should i begin. pls help

Hello Shirazi this is very good idea and you will learn a lot.....
very rare persons are using WSN, you will be the first to implement a security system using WSN
Elaborate some more that what u wanna use Xbee or GSM ?? Xbee Network can contain 65,538 Nodes which is a huge number.. now it depends on you that how many sensors you are going to use and what kind of technology will suit you....

thnx mansoor bhai,
i intend to use Xbee and not GSM as i have already worked with GSM..
As for now i dunno the no of nodes i'll deal with. but one things for sure it could be a point to point(Mesh topology), multihop approach.
