Hello people,
I am using LPC2138 for very long now. I faced an issue with it.
WDTR: This bit is set when the Watchdog Timer times out and the WDTRESET
bit in the Watchdog Mode Register is 1. It is cleared by any of the other
sources of Reset.
This is what is mentioned in the user manual UM10120, Page: 44 of 297.
However this bit is set due to rise in temperature as well. I am not very sure but I face this problem only in summers.
Anyone got any idea ?

How did you check this? i mean source of confirmation?

I have written a software for it which displays WDT reset only when it is reset in actual. It never happens usually though...But this happens frequently in summers...

Well when you say Watchdog is reset, it means WDT overflowed. if you are using WDT in your project, it might be getting overflowed somewhere. Look for the logical errors and traps you haven't looked for yet.
Moreover hardware behavior does changes when temperature increases, it maybe your device which is waiting for some external event or something might be acting weird when temperature changes. so the WDT resets.
I have no idea what exactly your application is, i cant really comment what may have been causing WDT reset.
