Hai,
I am using SIM 300 supported GSM modem.
I am able to transfer data through gprs, using Tata docomo and Airtel sim cards.

Now,when I used a Bsnl simcard, I am getting +PDP DEACT on entering AT+CIICR.

I tried these commands:

at+cgatt=1
OK
at+cgdcont=1,"IP","bsnlnet"
OK
at+cstt="bsnlnet",,
OK
at+ciicr
ERROR

+PDP: DEACT
at+cipshut
SHUT OK
at+cgdcont=1,"IP","bsnlnet"
OK
at+cipstatus
OK

STATE: IP INITIAL
at+cstt="bsnlnet",,
OK
at+cipstatus
OK

STATE: IP START
at+ciicr
ERROR

+PDP: DEACT

I have enough balance in my Sim card, activated for gprs, full network range.
I used the same commands for the other sim cards and is working properly.

Can you please help me?

Thanks.

Hai,
I tried the apn

bsnllive

Now I can attach to gprs, but I am getting a local ip.
When I send AT+CIPSTART command, I am getting only OK response, there is no CONNECT OK response. But it is giving ERROR:5 as response.

I tried a Bsnl sim card , which is in roaming. I am able to access internet using this.

using the first simcard, I am able to browse and download in my mobile.
Please help me................

I dont remember if these many commands are required for accessing gprs on sim300. You only need 3 commands to do successful communication over GPRS.

take a look at this thread:
Command set for SIM300 to send data to tcp server via gprs

try this.. after you power on your modem. make sure signal GSM is registered and strength is more then 10. give the following commands to bring up gprs connection:
AT+CSTT="bsnlnet","",""
AT+CIICR
AT+CIFSR

after this you should be able to connect to TCP/UDP ports. I believe bsnlnet only support connection to port 80 as its a browse only service. confirm it from customer care.

Hai,
I simplified the commands and is still giving error.

As I said, bsnl roaming sim is working. Airtel and tata docomo are working.
But this is not working. My doubt is that is it not supporting SIM300 modem

Hai Ajay,
It is not written on top of the Sim card.
Is there any other way to identify it?
It is a new Sim card.

When I checked it using my mobile, it is showing space for 200 contacts

Thank you

Does SIM300 support all Simcards.? Is there any special commands for 64K? But my other simcards are 64K and are working.
