A GSM modem choice criteria

what was exactly wrong with performance as you tested it ?

Dear Engineero,
There is lot of issues with SIMCOM modules.they keep releasing new firmware every day and so many bugs. I faced many bugs from them then after frustration I switched to Quectel. with M95 GSM/GPRS and L50 GPS.
Also combo GSM GPS is not recommended because , they Share common power regulator in common track inside the Module. and it is full of noises. People who used combo Module have switched back to discrete one because of lot of issues.any brand either big or small have failed in Combo modules.use my 8 years experience in GSM and GPS modules.
