Use different components and a separate power supply
what do you mean by thiis..? shoult i use separate supply for controller n ir..?

Sir, I understand that P1.0 would give me 38KHz. But in the my code, if you observe, you could see that instead of you using the whole port, i am using only 1 pin and making it toggle for every timer overflow. how does it differ from your code. please let me know.
and i am using 'a' as a counter to check the no. of cycles.
void timer0_isr () interrupt 1
{
ir= ~ir;
a++;
}
and i am using 'a' as a counter to check the no. of cycles.
mahmoud.r like this.

One supply for the transmitter, and another for the receiver.

I don't know what you are asking here.
I posted some code,
you made changes.....
You must know how your code differs from my original.

can you help me with circuit diagram..using fet to drive ir led..??lucky6772
Try this ...

Replace the motor with your LED and a limiting resistor.
