I think I am not the right person to explain you the code as you've posted this code. Read about interrupt enable register in 8051 manual or any book you are reading. To download manual visit ebooks section in download area.

@waterineyes, I want people to learn not just spoon fed. If a person shares a piece of code he/she must know what he has written or why he has written that.
