Reading data from serial port and plot it into computer

Which software is good and easy for reading data from serial port and plotting waveforms in software

I am not sure if there is any such software available that create waveforms of incoming data. But you can make one in VB.net or use MATLAB I think.

depends on you whichone you can do matlab is easy if you know what to do. but with VB.net you can make a standalone application and lot of examples available online.
