Wi-fi interface to PIC

hi,
any body help me to interface wi-fi moule to mu microcontroller.
i want to pic microcontroller and wi-fi module if any advice for module which i want to use ,is welcome.
please help

actually i want to configure and enabled first my wi-fi module after connecting it to the serial port of my PIC18F405.
(I have no idea how to configure wi-fi module through serial command)
And then what i am sending the message through my smart cellphone ,want to receive on HyperTerminal of my PC , or want to receive that data through serial port of my microcontroller.
Please help me if any body have any idea about this .

Does it need to be WiFi, or will Bluetooth do ?
Bluetooth is likely to be much simpler and cheaper.
Whatever you use, you will probably need create an "App" on you phone.

This will depend on what phone you have.

No Bluetooth sir . I have to use wi-fi module . i just want know how to configure or initialize wi-fi module . dose it require any command which should be given through Hyper Terminal . is there any utility through which we can give command (configure).
