.CRG REGISTRATION FILE ERROR IN MPLAB

Hi all,
I'm starting a new project on PIC 16F877A. I'm unable to compile the program. I'm getting an error called damaged crg file.
U can also suggest me a link where i can get the whole setup along with the compiler.

which compiler are you using? I suggest XC8 with MPLABx for development. If its a compiler issue then try installing it again.
