interface isd1000A with telephone line

how can i intrface isd1000A with telephone line directly??

well i am not able to download the datasheet completely, but as i see.. its not possible to directly interface it to a telephone line. the address lines etc shows its specially made to be interfaced with microcontrollers.

the thing i want is to playback the msg when someone picked up the phone
so do u have any info about interfacing this chip to the phone line ??

you mean a pre-recorded message? i have to download it to see how to connect.
I will tell you if it can be run in standalone mode.
