any Idea or code !

i am to submit in project based on microcontroller 8051 in a fewweeks for my Embedded Systems Course Project so any ideas related or if any1 can provide me code it would be his/her favour for me....

alishahid13 make code and hardware ur self u will enjoy a lot many projects r in download section get idea from there but make code ur self really u will enjoy

very simple project:
u can make a digital clock on 7 segments or lcd as u want
in this project u will cover many aspects of 8051
future more u can connect that to IR receiver and set the time with ur tv remote
or connect ur hardware to pc serial port and it display the system time
if u need a pc software i can guide or provide u
but have a time and interest then it is possible
for a semester make a simple clock after that add more features with respect to time when u learn more and more
in this way u will over the maximum sources of 8051
