hello help!!

hi! sir!
1)when i first set up the hyperterminal for com1 speed 9600, and then try to run the server open then message appears "no COM port selected" . what does is it mean? How can i connect it?
2)and when i first run the server and then try to set the hyperterminal then the message appear as " Another device is using the selected telephony device try again after the program completes". how can i set the hyperterminal and get rid of these problems?plzzzz suggest me.
3)when i only run the server without setting hyperterminal, then client and server connection is established.is it necessary to set up the hyper terminal?

you need to select comport from the drop down.
after you save the settings, click on server-> start

2. you are using a port which is already open or something.

3. i have no idea why are u using hyper terminal.. and for what reason..
coz server will run alone itself. u rather run telnet for testing it not hyper terminal.
