Micro and mobile phones typically run at voltages around 5 volts, so
transmit data at around 5 volts.
PCs and many serial devices use a signal that alternates between +12 and -12 volts.
To convert between them we often use the MAX232 integrated circuit (chip).
The MAX232 needs a 5 volt power supply and a few capacitors to work
so needs small circuit board.
To make a converter cable you need to add wires to and from the circuit board
with connectors to suit the phone and PC.

You are much more likely to succeed using AT and your T290 than Fbus or Mbus.
Nokia phones also need special cables.

i really really approtiate you and i don't know how to thank you.
i've understood now that i need max232 while i connect my T290i with pc and with Microcontroller. right so i need now to start doing this circuit and try to connect it to the mobile phone and PC and Test AT Command.
am i right or i missunderstand you ?
is this the circuit of the Max 232?

i'll use. if yes can now i work with my T290i cable that is in the pic.in the previous
replay?
coz i couldn't find any other cable except this cable in the picture. so i havn't tested the AT COmmand Yet on this mobile, but i can see that u r sure that it works great with the AT Command & I trust U.
oh another question Plz Does the Max 232 Circuit Support any kind of mobile as if i changed T290i can i use another mobile with the same circuit or there will be some modifications.
if u have the pic of the cable of t290i that i should have would u send it to me plz.
another thing plz:
i've a microcontroller training kit does it contain the MAX232 Circuit?

Surprise,i've just tried to connect the T290i with hyper terminals and it works Gr8 except with AT+CNMI=1, 2,0,0,0 it responds me by +CMS ERROR:303
i've searched about this error it means that not supported idon't know which is not supported but Nop, now when i tried
AT+CMGL="rec unread" and send a msg to mobile then write AT+CMGL="ALL"
it responds me the msg that was sent and the sender number !dance .
now i want to know what i should do the next step i wish u tell me.
am waiting ur replay as soosn as possible
thanks for ur time...
