OK.. the circuit is simulating correctly in proteus.. this means that the coding part is correct....
Now during simulation the software produces a message..
" Logic contentions detected" at the data lines of LCD".
According to proteus... due to such " logic contentions" the actual working of hardware may vary diffrently from that shown in the simulation....
I think the delays are not long enough to drive my LCD and hence no result is obtained on the LCD.......
Guys please help i need to complete this project within 10 days......

hi manan_vyas
just sold ur circuit carefully it will work
Logic contentions detected often come when lcd is driving in 4 bit mode or there is a logically wrong connections let say u joint a vcc and ground then this error come also
see the proteus diagram once again

@majoka : The program seems to be correct on careful study... do you confirm it ?
I am going to solder the circuit on a new board tomorow.
any suggestions.....?
also are there any alternate programmers that i can use for burning the IC
I am using Elnec BeeProg.

hi manan_vyas
if u download from this site and also working in proteus then no need to confirm don't worry about that
use 25 to 30 w solder so components not over heat during soldering
sold carefully after soldering confirm the connections again and again use crystal near to pin add 33pf cap musty and reset circuitry give 5 volt to 31 pin of 8051
after hardware finish try a led blinking code to verify hardware is ok
programmer software compatible with hardware
see on Google is there any other software then program ic using this hardware
