in that picture interface sheme, RS232 part is going to my datacable and mobile phone and the right side TX,RX and GND goes to microcontroller. Is this connection right?

galapacos

No..
The RS232 side goes to a PC or Micro computer board fitted with a MAX232 chip.
The connections on the right (2,3+4 Data in,Data out + Gnd go directly to the mobile phone no datacable
just three simple wires.

what do you mean micro computer? if it is microcontroller like PIC16F877, how can i connect rs232 pins (DTR etc.) to PIC16F877 because microcontroller has only TX,RX and GND? im confused :S

@ galapacos
normally in every micro controller u only need TX,RX and GROUND
leave other pins of serial port that is not used in micro controller case
that signal are used for handshaking of other devices with serial port let say old serial mouse, modems etc

@majoka
thx, i want to ask you a question. So i need to use of microcontroller tx,rx and gnd. and what should be the phone side could you explain(especially for rs232 pins, eternal supplies etc). im sorry i asked too much but i feel that im so close to succes

regards.

@ galapacos
on phone site u also need rx,tx and ground for normal communication
connect controller tx with phone rx and controller rx with phone tx
ground is common
some times it happen that both controller and phone has difference in operating voltage then it may happen that serial communication is not happen then volatgae divider is used as to low the voltage

you can connect DTR to 5v VCC.

the system works, thank you very much friends )

i dont use max232 or max3232, i connected the mobile's TX to microcontroller's TX directly but i used voltage divider beetween them. 1,7k and 3.3k so i get 3.3V to mobile TX pin

thanks a lot.
