Data transmission to pc

Sir is it posssible to transmit data through gprs/gsm technology.... IF possible please tell me how and explain with a block diagram

yes it is possible....

i have done it thru IP SMTP and FTP...

u need to first fix the modem(which modem u want to use..)
conect to your ISP (ex. airtel).
then use the protocols needed (IP/SMTP/FTP)..
and u r now done....
