ARM Basic

hello sir,
Sir i m working with 8051 and pic micro controllers since 1 year and also will work in future.
Sir now i want to work with ARM micro controller . i want complete knowledge about all history and family and other detail (from basic ) of ARM micro controller, could it possible if yes please guide me .

to start with ARM think of something you've already built on 8051 or PIC and try to implement same on ARM. buy a simple arm kit or make one yourself if you can. Get some good schematics from http://www.olimex.com start with ARM7 first as they are much easier. take a look at LPC series from NXP. you can make use of win arm compiler or if you're comfortable with keil then download keil's MDK arm toolchain from www.keil.com
