In E C for the Evil Genius under Figure L13-7 in How it works it says the voltage takes a path of least resistance as long as PBNO stays closed. Which way is the path of least resistance ? Through R1 and PBNC or through C1 ?

You will have to provide either a link to Figure L13-7
or a copy / drawing of it.
or a copy / drawing of it.

Hi
I tracked down a copy of the book online.
The author has mixed up PBNC and PBNO
He meant to say...
"As long as the PBNC (push button normally closed) stays closed, the voltage
takes the “path of least resistance†and goes directly to ground. "
The only current flowing would then be through R1 and PBNC to ground.

Thanks, now it makes more sense.Piotrekk
Thanks, happy to help.
Of course the author should really have said...
'As long as the PBNC stays closed, the current
takes the “path of least resistance†and goes directly to ground. '
With two errors in one sentence I'd be careful about the rest of the book
