Hello,
what are the other command that can be used for running light LEDs using 68k Motorola microprocessor beside using compare(cmp) and rotate (ror and rol) command.

Is there a practical reason for asking, or is it just some sort of
exam question ?.
exam question ?.

It is not exam question. My report about the running LEDs already completed but need to edit a bit about the introduction section, cause our lecturer want us to explain other commands or method that can be used for this running LEDs project. No need to remake back the coding, just to explain it , been search for it for a whole day, then I found this web while searching using google.. .. for my project I just use rotate and other instruction..

I suppose you could use shift instructions, but they are much the same as rotations
It depends on exactly what patterns you are creating.
