@Majoka bro, Thanks for your suggestion. I tried varying voltages as you said but dropping down 12V to 9V gives me a low rpm affecting the clarity of the display although the defect is reduced (but not removed completely).
Also, I cant understand if the defect is due to the stationary object used to interrupt the sensor as my rotating assembly is slightly unstable which I think is negligible, once the rotation is set. I have used a flexible sticking tape to interrupt the sensor. So, is it correct as per your views about this display??

To me it looks more like problem with decoding of data.. did you try some other text? shorter one? just to take a look what happens? so that we can conclude the source of problem.

If you didnt notice, the proper displaying of characters starts only when the external interrupt is being triggered. Try putting some more spaces at the last of the message to be displayed in program.

well, my previous comment was a misleading one, i guess..anyways, after making it, me too had the same problem wit slower speeds. But after adjusting the speed, its fixed now..

i need a little help..m making a propeller clock..n i want it to display different character n names..but when i change the characters(from project[display[[[[[[[[[ ) n try to creat a new hex file...it gives the following eror;
ERROR: ')' AFTER PARAMETER EXPECTED
C251 TERMINATED.
Target not created
Note:m using keil(c2051) to edit program n create hex file

Probably a typing error.
