does the relay pin2 need to connected to VCC?Is the limit switch circuit diagram is correct?do you have sample programming L298 motor driver and interface with microcontroller like the L293d ?i tried searching for current rating power window but can't find it.the model is 31321-12(RH).do you know the maximum current rating for the 12 power window motor?Attached the doc 4 ur reference.

if using relay u want to on the motor of 12 volt then connect relay pin 1 with 12 volt and black color wire of motor to ground now ground is provided to motor
now connect red color wire of motor to pin 2 of relay now as relay on 1 and 2 no pin will short and 12 v is provided to motor and ground is directly connected so motor will on
but in this way motor will run in one direction only
by using L298 u can move motor in both directions
car window motor rating is almost 3 AMP on 12 volt
L298 coding is simple u need to connect 4 pins or 6 pins of L298 to pic and just 2 combination is used for running motors
01=clockwise
10=anticlockwise
on 00 or 11 motor will off

i mean pin 2 of relay in the ldr circuit that u told me to use.Does it need to be connected to Vcc?

connect pin 1 to vcc not pin2
connect pin 2 with motor terminal
as i mention above

can u explain how to connect l298hn to PIC16F877 and what component need for motor driver to work cazuse the datasheet quite complicated.

how do i reduce the current from 1.2A to 0.6A without reducing the voltage which is 12V from the Ac power adapter?if i use connect NO pin(limit switch) to PIC pin, what will happen what input should be given for high and low?what will happen when it is high and low?attached is the schematic.will it enable the motor to stop when it is high according to my code or nothing will happen?

how do i reduce the current from 1.2A to 0.6A without reducing the voltage which is 12V from the Ac power adapter?

current can be reduced using a resistor of suitable value
from ur question i feel that u need some basic knowledge of it
otherwise u will damage some ur components
insert 10 or 1k resistor in series to push button so when it is pushed it not directly connected to vcc that can damage anything
as now u make a code now check it on Proteus that is it working according to ur need or not it s best way for u that do experiment on Proteus without damaging things
