can anyone explain to me what is the fuction of this lines? i dont understand this..

as u8 is a type define its representing an 8 bit no
same as u16 is for 16 bit no in other words it is for int
volatile is a keyword of c as constant and static are
it is an 16 bit no mean it is int
FF=MSB byte
FE=LSB byte
