My compliments to Gioppy! GREAT job! I built one of these and it worked the first time! It now has become the standard audio generator on my workbench. I ran quite a few tests on it. It produces a high quality waveform and the frequency is right on by my counter. I made quite a few hardware changes to accommodate the parts I had on hand but the firmware is the heart of the project and it works flawlessly. hint to all: buy a bunch of 10K 1% SMT805 chip resistors. They make a small accurate R2R ladder.

Thank you Gioppy!
(Now how about a audio to HF generator using an AD9834?)

Glad to hear you are pleased with my project. Yes, i agree SMT805 is a good choice.
AD9834 ? I do not have experience with high frequency, and get good performances is quite difficult.
