look if it is a full version then you will find an .addon named folder in the setup folder.....

just browse .....
at first it will ask you to insert drive an a:
cancel and select your .addon folder from your installation folder......
if you could not find addon folder....
search for it ......
u'll surely get.....

and hey every body has full version of keil but its may be cracked or illegaly obtained.....
so be specific and call it cracked keil .....
i dont know wether we are supposed to use that word ....

You asked about why use RD2.. so the reasons are many..
1. No special programmer needed
2. More RAM
3. More ROM (64K)
4. Easy to program
5. fast speed (6 clock or 12 clock)
6. Dual DPTR

Just check out the datasheet there are many things about RD2. I think for you its best suited as you cannot afford a programmer right now. So better use this.. later when you get to know about these stuff you can make use of other controllers..
RD2 will be good for you as a learner..

by the way never asked for it....
justed wanted amit to save money spending on rd2 and suggested him to work on simulators.....
get the basics done and then .... depending on his resources...
he should choose either rd2 or the programmer....

thanks for al the info. as iv got keil now (evaluation version only ) i guess il work with that for a while. anythin specific i must keep in mind? am just unable to figure out how to use this but i wil in some time thanks once again...n soon il get down to the h/w

hey that file/folder is not there in the path u mentioned. examples is there but there is no blinky or blink in it..wat do i do
