Soon i am going to put a new project on the website.
Home automation over internet using webserver

Java Developer: Shruthi Alekha S, Ajay Bhargav

Project is still under progress. It has a stand alone webserver written in java.. hardcoded to control 4 switching appliances, 2 speed control or dimmer aplliance and to read a temprature of the room.

Update of Home automation over internet

Home automation project is updated. There are few things added in the project. Here is the list of few updates..
  1. LED Indicator added for indicating new message has received.
  2. New command added to control the dimness of LED, this feature can also be used to control a FAN speed, can be used in any way.
  3. Schematic updated
  4. Power supply section updated, removed 12V supply because no more needed.

As per request from all of you. I made this demo of Home Automation Over Internet.
Here i am showing
  1. How to open a connection.
  2. How to close a connection.
  3. How to switch on/off.
  4. How to send sms.
  5. How to check status.

there was some hard ware problem , which i couldnt make out the mistake till now !
i have checked each part of the hardware , ie serial comm is working , lcd is working ...... still i couldnt find out the mistake


i had done home automation ( with didgital clock) i made use of that hard ware , the project is working now

i have some doubt in internet automation .....
i have finished the hard ware ...
i even got the out put once ,
now i am not getting he op
the lcd just displays read msges
......... what ever i send in the client comp
the msges will be displayed on the server,
sometime i get the msg as ok in the client comp....
i have checked the hard ware, seriall comm is working,
lcd is working ....

Here is my 1st time to visit your site ~ I feel it's so amazing on it. Once I tried your home automation.
As I need to build a CGI web site for remote control the MC via a serial port. Best , according to your C file, both cannot build in VC++ or VC, huge number of errors compiled.

New Sever!

hey group 16 members,
New webserver (not a dedicated one) established for the Home Automation Server. you can visit the secure server at http://rickeyworld.selfip.com
this server is established on:
AMD Athlon 3000+
512MB RAM
80GB SATA HDD
lol thats my own PC. yes i made my own PC as server ;-) isnt that cool?

Pins high is the normal state. You need a program to set them low
